Tali in her New Version of Auntie's Old skirt:
She chose some nice Ric-rac to add along the bottom
raw seam (pure laziness really)

Nice fat 1/4's from Wells' in Latrobe
Jesse and Micah, aka "NOOOO, not another Quilt Shop boys!", chose these:
They nagged and nagged and nagged (very naggingly - YES, I know that's not a word, but you get the picture) until I said they could have them!

Very cute skinny girl. (and skirt!) Never seen the boys so animated in a quilt shop!
Great skirt, very fruitful shopping at Latrobe, Debs.
Hey that is great recycling...
Oh I am lucky the QC dont sell fabric like that or I wont hear the end of it from my boys - "make a quilt with that mum" sigh.
I like the buttons from the op shop!
That kind of re-cycling is so satisfying. A free skirt. And such a pretty girl.
Hi Kathy, that's a lovely skirt!! Beautiful colour! Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog with the link to help me upload pictures! Marlya x

OKay girl - time to do ANOTHER POST. MAYBE about going to AQC? What days do you plan to be there? We might 'bang' into you lol.
